The K174 is a fully computerised, front loading machine for processing bottom stocks on assembled shoes, it features a single head fitted with two tools that can be operated alternately.

Supplied with three standard tools:
A milling roller for scouring, which is used to remove surplus material from the inside of the shoe, so that that the lasting edges of the upper and insole are flush.
A patented pounding roller that ensures the surface of the shoe bottom mounted on the sole, waist and heel seat is perfectly flat.Thanks to the innovative intersected ring structure, the noise generated by the pounding process is greatly reduced.
Roughing brush: roughs the bottom of the shoe, applying different pressures at different points according to the pre-programmed settings, and at different speeds for the various parts (sole, waist and heel seat). Programmable fifth axis: The only machine of its type capable of positioning the roughing brush and pounding roller tools so that they lie parallel to the shoe shank, thus reducing the need for manual roughing and pounding to a minimum.The tilting fifth axis ensures that machine performs the operations perfectly flush with the insole, even in the case of shoes with very high heels, and hence very narrow waists.
It is possible to apply different pressures at different points when roughing the shoe bottom, according to the pre-programmed settings, and perform operations at different speeds on the various parts (sole, waist and heel seat).
